40:1 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ حمٓ
بِسْمِ In (the) name ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ the Most Gracious ٱلرَّحِيمِ the Most Merciful حمٓ Ha Meem ١ H'a, Mim.
40:2 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
تَنزِيلُ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْعَلِيمِ
تَنزِيلُ (The) revelation ٱلْكِتَٰبِ (of) the Book مِنَ (is) from ٱللَّهِ Allah ٱلْعَزِيزِ the All-Mighty ٱلْعَلِيمِ the All-Knower ٢ Uteremsho wa Kitabu umetoka kwa Mwenyezi Mungu Mwenye nguvu, Mwenye kujua.
40:3 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
غَافِرِ ٱلذَّنۢبِ وَقَابِلِ ٱلتَّوْبِ شَدِيدِ ٱلْعِقَابِ ذِى ٱلطَّوْلِ ۖ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ إِلَيْهِ ٱلْمَصِيرُ
غَافِرِ (The) Forgiver ٱلذَّنۢبِ (of) the sin وَقَابِلِ and (the) Acceptor ٱلتَّوْبِ (of) [the] repentance شَدِيدِ severe ٱلْعِقَابِ (in) the punishment ذِى Owner (of) the abundance ٱلطَّوْلِ ۖ Owner (of) the abundance لَآ (There is) no إِلَٰهَ god إِلَّا except هُوَ ۖ Him إِلَيْهِ to Him ٱلْمَصِيرُ (is) the final return ٣ Anaye samehe dhambi na anaye pokea toba, Mkali wa kuadhibu, Mwenye ukarimu, hakuna mungu ila Yeye; marejeo ni kwake.
40:4 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
مَا يُجَٰدِلُ فِىٓ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ فَلَا يَغْرُرْكَ تَقَلُّبُهُمْ فِى ٱلْبِلَٰدِ
مَا Not يُجَٰدِلُ dispute فِىٓ concerning ءَايَٰتِ (the) Verses ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah إِلَّا except ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve فَلَا so (let) not يَغْرُرْكَ deceive you تَقَلُّبُهُمْ their movement فِى in ٱلْبِلَٰدِ the cities ٤ Hawazibishi Ishara za Mwenyezi Mungu ila walio kufuru; basi kusikughuri wewe kutanga tanga kwao katika nchi.
40:5 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ وَٱلْأَحْزَابُ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِمْ ۖ وَهَمَّتْ كُلُّ أُمَّةٍۭ بِرَسُولِهِمْ لِيَأْخُذُوهُ ۖ وَجَٰدَلُوا۟ بِٱلْبَٰطِلِ لِيُدْحِضُوا۟ بِهِ ٱلْحَقَّ فَأَخَذْتُهُمْ ۖ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عِقَابِ
كَذَّبَتْ Denied قَبْلَهُمْ before them قَوْمُ (the) people نُوحٍ (of) Nuh وَٱلْأَحْزَابُ and the factions مِنۢ after them بَعْدِهِمْ ۖ after them وَهَمَّتْ and plotted كُلُّ every أُمَّةٍۭ nation بِرَسُولِهِمْ against their Messenger لِيَأْخُذُوهُ ۖ to seize him وَجَٰدَلُوا۟ and they disputed بِٱلْبَٰطِلِ by falsehood لِيُدْحِضُوا۟ to refute بِهِ thereby ٱلْحَقَّ the truth فَأَخَذْتُهُمْ ۖ So I seized them فَكَيْفَ Then how كَانَ was عِقَابِ My penalty ٥ Kabla yao walikadhibisha kaumu ya Nuhu na makundi mengine baada yao. Na kila taifa lilikuwa na hamu juu ya Mtume wao wamkamate. Na walibishana kwa upotovu ili kuipindua haki. Kwa hivyo niliwakamata. Basi ilikuwaje adhabu yangu!
40:6 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
وَكَذَٰلِكَ حَقَّتْ كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ أَنَّهُمْ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلنَّارِ
وَكَذَٰلِكَ And thus حَقَّتْ has been justified كَلِمَتُ (the) Word رَبِّكَ (of) your Lord عَلَى against ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوٓا۟ disbelieved أَنَّهُمْ that they أَصْحَٰبُ (are) companions ٱلنَّارِ (of) the Fire ٦ Namna hivi limewathibitikia makafiri neno la Mola wako Mlezi ya kwamba wao ni watu wa Motoni.
40:7 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
ٱلَّذِينَ يَحْمِلُونَ ٱلْعَرْشَ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهُۥ يُسَبِّحُونَ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّهِمْ وَيُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِۦ وَيَسْتَغْفِرُونَ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ رَبَّنَا وَسِعْتَ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ رَّحْمَةً وَعِلْمًا فَٱغْفِرْ لِلَّذِينَ تَابُوا۟ وَٱتَّبَعُوا۟ سَبِيلَكَ وَقِهِمْ عَذَابَ ٱلْجَحِيمِ
ٱلَّذِينَ Those who يَحْمِلُونَ bear ٱلْعَرْشَ the Throne وَمَنْ and who حَوْلَهُۥ (are) around it يُسَبِّحُونَ glorify بِحَمْدِ (the) praises رَبِّهِمْ (of) their Lord وَيُؤْمِنُونَ and believe بِهِۦ in Him وَيَسْتَغْفِرُونَ and ask forgiveness لِلَّذِينَ for those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe رَبَّنَا Our Lord وَسِعْتَ You encompass كُلَّ all شَىْءٍ things رَّحْمَةً (by Your) Mercy وَعِلْمًا and knowledge فَٱغْفِرْ so forgive لِلَّذِينَ those who تَابُوا۟ repent وَٱتَّبَعُوا۟ and follow سَبِيلَكَ Your Way وَقِهِمْ and save them (from) عَذَابَ (the) punishment ٱلْجَحِيمِ (of) the Hellfire ٧ Wale wanao beba A'rshi, na wanao izunguka, wanamsabihi na kumhimidi Mola wao Mlezi, na wanamuamini, na wanawaombea msamaha walio amini kwa kusema: Mola wetu Mlezi! Umekienea kila kitu kwa rehema na ujuzi. Basi wasamehe walio tubu na wakaifuata Njia yako, na waepushe na adhabu ya Jahannamu.
Ukurasa 468 40:8 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
رَبَّنَا وَأَدْخِلْهُمْ جَنَّٰتِ عَدْنٍ ٱلَّتِى وَعَدتَّهُمْ وَمَن صَلَحَ مِنْ ءَابَآئِهِمْ وَأَزْوَٰجِهِمْ وَذُرِّيَّٰتِهِمْ ۚ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ
رَبَّنَا Our Lord وَأَدْخِلْهُمْ And admit them جَنَّٰتِ (to) Gardens عَدْنٍ (of) Eden ٱلَّتِى which وَعَدتَّهُمْ You have promised them وَمَن and whoever صَلَحَ (was) righteous مِنْ among ءَابَآئِهِمْ their fathers وَأَزْوَٰجِهِمْ and their spouses وَذُرِّيَّٰتِهِمْ ۚ and their offspring إِنَّكَ Indeed You أَنتَ You ٱلْعَزِيزُ (are) the All-Mighty ٱلْحَكِيمُ the All-Wise ٨ Mola wetu Mlezi! Na waingize katika Bustani za Milele ulizo waahidi. Na uwape haya pia wale walio fanya mema miongoni mwa wazee wao na wake zao na dhuriya zao. Hakika Wewe ni Mwenye nguvu, Mwenye hikima.
40:9 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
وَقِهِمُ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ ۚ وَمَن تَقِ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ يَوْمَئِذٍ فَقَدْ رَحِمْتَهُۥ ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ
وَقِهِمُ And protect them ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ ۚ (from) the evils وَمَن And whoever تَقِ you protect ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ (from) the evils يَوْمَئِذٍ that Day فَقَدْ then verily رَحِمْتَهُۥ ۚ You have bestowed mercy on him وَذَٰلِكَ And that هُوَ [it] ٱلْفَوْزُ (is) the success ٱلْعَظِيمُ the great ٩ Na waepushe na maovu; kwani umwepushaye maovu siku hiyo, hakika umemrehemu; na huko ndiko kufuzu kukubwa.
40:10 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ يُنَادَوْنَ لَمَقْتُ ٱللَّهِ أَكْبَرُ مِن مَّقْتِكُمْ أَنفُسَكُمْ إِذْ تُدْعَوْنَ إِلَى ٱلْإِيمَٰنِ فَتَكْفُرُونَ
إِنَّ Indeed ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieved يُنَادَوْنَ will be cried out to them لَمَقْتُ Certainly Allah's hatred ٱللَّهِ Certainly Allah's hatred أَكْبَرُ (was) greater مِن than مَّقْتِكُمْ your hatred أَنفُسَكُمْ (of) yourselves إِذْ when تُدْعَوْنَ you were called إِلَى to ٱلْإِيمَٰنِ the faith فَتَكْفُرُونَ and you disbelieved ١٠ Kwa hakika wale walio kufuru watanadiwa: Bila ya shaka kukuchukieni Mwenyezi Mungu ni kukubwa kuliko kujichukia nyinyi nafsi zenu, mlipo kuwa mnaitwa kwenye Imani nanyi mkakataa.
40:11 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
قَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَآ أَمَتَّنَا ٱثْنَتَيْنِ وَأَحْيَيْتَنَا ٱثْنَتَيْنِ فَٱعْتَرَفْنَا بِذُنُوبِنَا فَهَلْ إِلَىٰ خُرُوجٍ مِّن سَبِيلٍ
قَالُوا۟ They (will) say رَبَّنَآ Our Lord أَمَتَّنَا You gave us death ٱثْنَتَيْنِ twice وَأَحْيَيْتَنَا and You gave us life ٱثْنَتَيْنِ twice فَٱعْتَرَفْنَا and we confess بِذُنُوبِنَا our sins فَهَلْ So is (there) إِلَىٰ to خُرُوجٍ get out مِّن any سَبِيلٍ way ١١ Watasema: Mola wetu Mlezi! Umetufisha mara mbili, na umetuhuisha mara mbili! Basi tunakiri madhambi yetu. Basi je, ipo njia ya kutoka?
40:12 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
ذَٰلِكُم بِأَنَّهُۥٓ إِذَا دُعِىَ ٱللَّهُ وَحْدَهُۥ كَفَرْتُمْ ۖ وَإِن يُشْرَكْ بِهِۦ تُؤْمِنُوا۟ ۚ فَٱلْحُكْمُ لِلَّهِ ٱلْعَلِىِّ ٱلْكَبِيرِ
ذَٰلِكُم That بِأَنَّهُۥٓ (is) because إِذَا when دُعِىَ Allah was invoked ٱللَّهُ Allah was invoked وَحْدَهُۥ Alone كَفَرْتُمْ ۖ you disbelieved وَإِن but if يُشْرَكْ (others) were associated بِهِۦ with Him تُؤْمِنُوا۟ ۚ you believed فَٱلْحُكْمُ So the judgment لِلَّهِ (is) with Allah ٱلْعَلِىِّ the Most High ٱلْكَبِيرِ the Most Great ١٢ Hayo ni hivyo kwa sababu mlikuwa akiombwa Mwenyezi Mungu peke yake mnakataa. Na akishirikishwa mnaamini. Basi hukumu ni ya Mwenyezi Mungu Mtukufu Mkuu.
40:13 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
هُوَ ٱلَّذِى يُرِيكُمْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ وَيُنَزِّلُ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ رِزْقًا ۚ وَمَا يَتَذَكَّرُ إِلَّا مَن يُنِيبُ
هُوَ He ٱلَّذِى (is) the One Who يُرِيكُمْ shows you ءَايَٰتِهِۦ His Signs وَيُنَزِّلُ and sends down لَكُم for you مِّنَ from ٱلسَّمَآءِ the sky رِزْقًا ۚ provision وَمَا But (does) not يَتَذَكَّرُ take heed إِلَّا except مَن (one) who يُنِيبُ turns ١٣ Yeye ndiye anaye kuonyesheni Ishara zake, na anakuteremshieni kutoka mbinguni riziki. Na hapana anaye kumbuka ila anaye rejea.
40:14 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
فَٱدْعُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ ٱلدِّينَ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ
فَٱدْعُوا۟ So invoke ٱللَّهَ Allah مُخْلِصِينَ (being) sincere لَهُ to Him ٱلدِّينَ (in) the religion وَلَوْ even though كَرِهَ dislike (it) ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ the disbelievers ١٤ Basi mwombeni Mwenyezi Mungu mkimsafia Dini Yeye tu, na wangachukia makafiri.
40:15 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
رَفِيعُ ٱلدَّرَجَٰتِ ذُو ٱلْعَرْشِ يُلْقِى ٱلرُّوحَ مِنْ أَمْرِهِۦ عَلَىٰ مَن يَشَآءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِۦ لِيُنذِرَ يَوْمَ ٱلتَّلَاقِ
رَفِيعُ Possessor of the Highest Ranks ٱلدَّرَجَٰتِ Possessor of the Highest Ranks ذُو Owner (of) the Throne ٱلْعَرْشِ Owner (of) the Throne يُلْقِى He places ٱلرُّوحَ the inspiration مِنْ of أَمْرِهِۦ His Command عَلَىٰ upon مَن whom يَشَآءُ He wills مِنْ of عِبَادِهِۦ His slaves لِيُنذِرَ to warn يَوْمَ (of the) Day ٱلتَّلَاقِ (of) the Meeting ١٥ Yeye ndiye Mwenye vyeo vya juu, Mwenye A'rshi. Hupeleka Roho kwa amri yake juu ya amtakaye katika waja wake, ili kuonya kwa Siku ya Mkutano.
40:16 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
يَوْمَ هُم بَٰرِزُونَ ۖ لَا يَخْفَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ مِنْهُمْ شَىْءٌ ۚ لِّمَنِ ٱلْمُلْكُ ٱلْيَوْمَ ۖ لِلَّهِ ٱلْوَٰحِدِ ٱلْقَهَّارِ
يَوْمَ (The) Day هُم they بَٰرِزُونَ ۖ come forth لَا not يَخْفَىٰ is hidden عَلَى from ٱللَّهِ Allah مِنْهُمْ about them شَىْءٌ ۚ anything لِّمَنِ For whom ٱلْمُلْكُ (is) the Dominion ٱلْيَوْمَ ۖ this Day لِلَّهِ For Allah ٱلْوَٰحِدِ the One ٱلْقَهَّارِ the Irresistible ١٦ Siku watakayo dhihiri wao. Hapana kitacho fichikana chochote chao kwa Mwenyezi Mungu. Ufalme ni wa nani leo? Ni wa Mwenyezi Mungu Mmoja Mtenda nguvu.
Ukurasa 469 40:17 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
ٱلْيَوْمَ تُجْزَىٰ كُلُّ نَفْسٍۭ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ ۚ لَا ظُلْمَ ٱلْيَوْمَ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَرِيعُ ٱلْحِسَابِ
ٱلْيَوْمَ This Day تُجْزَىٰ will be recompensed كُلُّ every نَفْسٍۭ soul بِمَا for what كَسَبَتْ ۚ it earned لَا No ظُلْمَ injustice ٱلْيَوْمَ ۚ today إِنَّ Indeed ٱللَّهَ Allah سَرِيعُ (is) Swift ٱلْحِسَابِ (in) Account ١٧ Leo kila nafsi italipwa kwa iliyo chuma. Hapana dhulma leo. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwepesi wa kuhisabu.
40:18 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
وَأَنذِرْهُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْـَٔازِفَةِ إِذِ ٱلْقُلُوبُ لَدَى ٱلْحَنَاجِرِ كَٰظِمِينَ ۚ مَا لِلظَّٰلِمِينَ مِنْ حَمِيمٍ وَلَا شَفِيعٍ يُطَاعُ
وَأَنذِرْهُمْ And warn them يَوْمَ (of the) Day ٱلْـَٔازِفَةِ the Approaching إِذِ when ٱلْقُلُوبُ the hearts لَدَى (are) at ٱلْحَنَاجِرِ the throats كَٰظِمِينَ ۚ choked مَا Not لِلظَّٰلِمِينَ for the wrongdoers مِنْ any حَمِيمٍ intimate friend وَلَا and no شَفِيعٍ intercessor يُطَاعُ (who) is obeyed ١٨ Na waonye siku inayo kurubia, wakati nyoyo zitakapo fika kooni, nao wamejaa huzuni. Madhaalimu hawatakuwa na rafiki, wala mwombezi wa kuitikiwa.
40:19 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
يَعْلَمُ خَآئِنَةَ ٱلْأَعْيُنِ وَمَا تُخْفِى ٱلصُّدُورُ
يَعْلَمُ He knows خَآئِنَةَ (the) stealthy glance ٱلْأَعْيُنِ (the) stealthy glance وَمَا and what تُخْفِى conceal ٱلصُّدُورُ the breasts ١٩ (Mwenyezi Mungu) anajua khiyana ya macho na yanayo ficha vifua.
40:20 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
وَٱللَّهُ يَقْضِى بِٱلْحَقِّ ۖ وَٱلَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِهِۦ لَا يَقْضُونَ بِشَىْءٍ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْبَصِيرُ
وَٱللَّهُ And Allah يَقْضِى judges بِٱلْحَقِّ ۖ in truth وَٱلَّذِينَ while those (whom) يَدْعُونَ they invoke مِن besides Him دُونِهِۦ besides Him لَا not يَقْضُونَ they judge بِشَىْءٍ ۗ with anything إِنَّ Indeed ٱللَّهَ Allah هُوَ He ٱلسَّمِيعُ (is) the All-Hearer ٱلْبَصِيرُ the All-Seer ٢٠ Na Mwenyezi Mungu huhukumu kwa haki; lakini hao wanao waomba badala yake hawahukumu chochote. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu ndiye Mwenye kusikia Mwenye kuona.
40:21 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
۞ أَوَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَيَنظُرُوا۟ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَانُوا۟ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ كَانُوا۟ هُمْ أَشَدَّ مِنْهُمْ قُوَّةً وَءَاثَارًا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَأَخَذَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِذُنُوبِهِمْ وَمَا كَانَ لَهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ مِن وَاقٍ
۞ أَوَلَمْ Do not يَسِيرُوا۟ they travel فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth فَيَنظُرُوا۟ and see كَيْفَ how كَانَ was عَٰقِبَةُ (the) end ٱلَّذِينَ (of) those who كَانُوا۟ were مِن before them قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ before them كَانُوا۟ They were هُمْ [they] أَشَدَّ superior مِنْهُمْ to them قُوَّةً (in) strength وَءَاثَارًا and (in) impressions فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the land فَأَخَذَهُمُ but Allah seized them ٱللَّهُ but Allah seized them بِذُنُوبِهِمْ for their sins وَمَا and not كَانَ was لَهُم for them مِّنَ against ٱللَّهِ Allah مِن any وَاقٍ protector ٢١ Kwani hawatembei katika ardhi wakaona jinsi ulivyo kuwa mwisho wa walio kuwa kabla yao? Hao walikuwa wamewazidi hawa kwa nguvu na athari katika nchi. Na Mwenyezi Mungu aliwatia mkononi kwa sababu ya madhambi yao. Na wala hapakuwa wa kuwalinda na Mwenyezi Mungu.
40:22 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَانَت تَّأْتِيهِمْ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ فَكَفَرُوا۟ فَأَخَذَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ قَوِىٌّ شَدِيدُ ٱلْعِقَابِ
ذَٰلِكَ That بِأَنَّهُمْ (was) because [they] كَانَت used to come to them تَّأْتِيهِمْ used to come to them رُسُلُهُم their Messengers بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ with clear proofs فَكَفَرُوا۟ but they disbelieved فَأَخَذَهُمُ So Allah seized them ٱللَّهُ ۚ So Allah seized them إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, He قَوِىٌّ (is) All-Strong شَدِيدُ severe ٱلْعِقَابِ (in) punishment ٢٢ Hayo ni kwa sababu walikuwa wanawajia Mitume wao kwa hoja zilizo wazi, lakini wakawakataa, ndipo Mwenyezi Mungu akawakamata. Bila ya shaka Yeye ni Mwenye nguvu, Mkali wa kuadhibu.
40:23 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مُوسَىٰ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا وَسُلْطَٰنٍ مُّبِينٍ
وَلَقَدْ And certainly أَرْسَلْنَا We sent مُوسَىٰ Musa بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا with Our Signs وَسُلْطَٰنٍ and an authority مُّبِينٍ clear ٢٣ Na kwa yakini tulimtuma Musa pamoja na Ishara zetu na uthibitisho ulio wazi,
40:24 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ وَهَٰمَٰنَ وَقَٰرُونَ فَقَالُوا۟ سَٰحِرٌ كَذَّابٌ
إِلَىٰ To فِرْعَوْنَ Firaun وَهَٰمَٰنَ Haman وَقَٰرُونَ and Qarun فَقَالُوا۟ but they said سَٰحِرٌ A magician كَذَّابٌ a liar ٢٤ Kumwendea Firauni na Hamana na Qaruni, wakasema: Huyu ni mchawi, mwongo mkubwa.
40:25 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُم بِٱلْحَقِّ مِنْ عِندِنَا قَالُوا۟ ٱقْتُلُوٓا۟ أَبْنَآءَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مَعَهُۥ وَٱسْتَحْيُوا۟ نِسَآءَهُمْ ۚ وَمَا كَيْدُ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ إِلَّا فِى ضَلَٰلٍ
فَلَمَّا Then when جَآءَهُم he brought to them بِٱلْحَقِّ the truth مِنْ from عِندِنَا Us قَالُوا۟ they said ٱقْتُلُوٓا۟ Kill أَبْنَآءَ (the) sons ٱلَّذِينَ (of) those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe مَعَهُۥ with him وَٱسْتَحْيُوا۟ and let live نِسَآءَهُمْ ۚ their women وَمَا And not كَيْدُ (is the) plot ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ (of) the disbelievers إِلَّا but فِى in ضَلَٰلٍ error ٢٥ Basi alipo waletea Haki inayo toka kwetu, walisema: Waueni watoto wanaume wa wale walio muamini na wawacheni hai wanawake wao. Na haviwi vitimbi vya makafiri ila katika upotovu.
Ukurasa 470 40:26 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
وَقَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ ذَرُونِىٓ أَقْتُلْ مُوسَىٰ وَلْيَدْعُ رَبَّهُۥٓ ۖ إِنِّىٓ أَخَافُ أَن يُبَدِّلَ دِينَكُمْ أَوْ أَن يُظْهِرَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ٱلْفَسَادَ
وَقَالَ And said فِرْعَوْنُ Firaun ذَرُونِىٓ Leave me أَقْتُلْ (so that) I kill مُوسَىٰ Musa وَلْيَدْعُ and let him call رَبَّهُۥٓ ۖ his Lord إِنِّىٓ Indeed, I أَخَافُ [I] fear أَن that يُبَدِّلَ he will change دِينَكُمْ your religion أَوْ or أَن that يُظْهِرَ he may cause to appear فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the land ٱلْفَسَادَ the corruption ٢٦ Na Firauni akasema: Niachieni nimuuwe Musa, naye amwite Mola wake Mlezi! Mimi nachelea asije kubadilishieni dini yenu, au akatangaza uharibifu katika nchi.
40:27 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
وَقَالَ مُوسَىٰٓ إِنِّى عُذْتُ بِرَبِّى وَرَبِّكُم مِّن كُلِّ مُتَكَبِّرٍ لَّا يُؤْمِنُ بِيَوْمِ ٱلْحِسَابِ
وَقَالَ And said مُوسَىٰٓ Musa إِنِّى Indeed, I عُذْتُ [I] seek refuge بِرَبِّى in my Lord وَرَبِّكُم and your Lord مِّن from كُلِّ every مُتَكَبِّرٍ arrogant one لَّا not يُؤْمِنُ who believes بِيَوْمِ (in the) Day ٱلْحِسَابِ (of) the Account ٢٧ Na Musa akasema: Mimi najikinga kwa Mola wangu Mlezi na Mola wenu Mlezi anilinde na kila mwenye jeuri asiye iamini Siku ya Hisabu.
40:28 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
وَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مُّؤْمِنٌ مِّنْ ءَالِ فِرْعَوْنَ يَكْتُمُ إِيمَٰنَهُۥٓ أَتَقْتُلُونَ رَجُلًا أَن يَقُولَ رَبِّىَ ٱللَّهُ وَقَدْ جَآءَكُم بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ مِن رَّبِّكُمْ ۖ وَإِن يَكُ كَٰذِبًا فَعَلَيْهِ كَذِبُهُۥ ۖ وَإِن يَكُ صَادِقًا يُصِبْكُم بَعْضُ ٱلَّذِى يَعِدُكُمْ ۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِى مَنْ هُوَ مُسْرِفٌ كَذَّابٌ
وَقَالَ And said رَجُلٌ a man مُّؤْمِنٌ believing مِّنْ from ءَالِ (the) family فِرْعَوْنَ (of) Firaun يَكْتُمُ who conceal(ed) إِيمَٰنَهُۥٓ his faith أَتَقْتُلُونَ Will you kill رَجُلًا a man أَن because يَقُولَ he says رَبِّىَ My Lord ٱللَّهُ (is) Allah وَقَدْ and indeed جَآءَكُم he has brought you بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ clear proofs مِن from رَّبِّكُمْ ۖ your Lord وَإِن And if يَكُ he is كَٰذِبًا a liar فَعَلَيْهِ then upon him كَذِبُهُۥ ۖ (is) his lie وَإِن and if يَكُ he is صَادِقًا truthful يُصِبْكُم (there) will strike you بَعْضُ some (of) ٱلَّذِى (that) which يَعِدُكُمْ ۖ he threatens you إِنَّ Indeed ٱللَّهَ Allah لَا (does) not يَهْدِى guide مَنْ (one) who هُوَ [he] مُسْرِفٌ (is) a transgressor كَذَّابٌ a liar ٢٨ Na akasema mtu mmoja Muumini, aliye kuwa mmoja katika watu wa Firauni aliye ficha Imani yake: Mtamuuwa mtu kwa sababu anasema Mola wangu Mlezi ni Mwenyezi Mungu? Na hali naye amekujieni na hoja zilizo wazi? Na akiwa yeye mwongo basi uwongo wake ni juu yake mwenyewe, na akiwa mkweli yatakufikieni baadhi ya hayo anayo kuahidini. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu hamwongoi apindukiaye mipaka, mwongo mkubwa.
40:29 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
يَٰقَوْمِ لَكُمُ ٱلْمُلْكُ ٱلْيَوْمَ ظَٰهِرِينَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَمَن يَنصُرُنَا مِنۢ بَأْسِ ٱللَّهِ إِن جَآءَنَا ۚ قَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ مَآ أُرِيكُمْ إِلَّا مَآ أَرَىٰ وَمَآ أَهْدِيكُمْ إِلَّا سَبِيلَ ٱلرَّشَادِ
يَٰقَوْمِ O my people لَكُمُ For you ٱلْمُلْكُ (is) the kingdom ٱلْيَوْمَ today ظَٰهِرِينَ dominant فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the land فَمَن but who يَنصُرُنَا will help us مِنۢ from بَأْسِ (the) punishment ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah إِن if جَآءَنَا ۚ it came to us قَالَ Said فِرْعَوْنُ Firaun مَآ Not أُرِيكُمْ I show you إِلَّا except مَآ what أَرَىٰ I see وَمَآ and not أَهْدِيكُمْ I guide you إِلَّا except سَبِيلَ (to the) path ٱلرَّشَادِ the right ٢٩ Enyi watu wangu! Leo mna ufalme, mmeshinda katika nchi; basi ni nani atakaye nisaidia kutuokoa na adhabu ya Mwenyezi Mungu kama ikitufikia? Firauni akasema: Sikupeni shauri ila ile niliyo iona, wala sikuongozeni ila kwenye njia ya uwongofu.
40:30 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِىٓ ءَامَنَ يَٰقَوْمِ إِنِّىٓ أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُم مِّثْلَ يَوْمِ ٱلْأَحْزَابِ
وَقَالَ And said ٱلَّذِىٓ (he) who ءَامَنَ believed يَٰقَوْمِ O my people إِنِّىٓ Indeed I أَخَافُ [I] fear عَلَيْكُم for you مِّثْلَ like يَوْمِ (the) day ٱلْأَحْزَابِ (of) the companies ٣٠ Na akasema yule aliye amini: Enyi watu wangu! Hakika mimi nakukhofieni mfano wa siku za makundi,
40:31 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
مِثْلَ دَأْبِ قَوْمِ نُوحٍ وَعَادٍ وَثَمُودَ وَٱلَّذِينَ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِمْ ۚ وَمَا ٱللَّهُ يُرِيدُ ظُلْمًا لِّلْعِبَادِ
مِثْلَ Like دَأْبِ (the) plight قَوْمِ (of the) people نُوحٍ (of) Nuh وَعَادٍ and Aad وَثَمُودَ and Thamud وَٱلَّذِينَ and those مِنۢ after them بَعْدِهِمْ ۚ after them وَمَا And Allah (does) not ٱللَّهُ And Allah (does) not يُرِيدُ want ظُلْمًا injustice لِّلْعِبَادِ for (His) slaves ٣١ Mfano wa hali ya watu wa Nuhu na A'di na Thamudi na wale wa baada yao. Na Mwenyezi Mungu hataki kuwadhulumu waja.
40:32 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
وَيَٰقَوْمِ إِنِّىٓ أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلتَّنَادِ
وَيَٰقَوْمِ And O my people إِنِّىٓ Indeed, I أَخَافُ [I] fear عَلَيْكُمْ for you يَوْمَ (the) Day ٱلتَّنَادِ (of) Calling ٣٢ Na enyi watu wangu! Hakika mimi nakukhofieni Siku ya mayowe.
40:33 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
يَوْمَ تُوَلُّونَ مُدْبِرِينَ مَا لَكُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ مِنْ عَاصِمٍ ۗ وَمَن يُضْلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُۥ مِنْ هَادٍ
يَوْمَ A Day تُوَلُّونَ you will turn back مُدْبِرِينَ fleeing مَا not لَكُم for you مِّنَ from ٱللَّهِ Allah مِنْ any عَاصِمٍ ۗ protector وَمَن And whoever يُضْلِلِ Allah lets go astray ٱللَّهُ Allah lets go astray فَمَا then not لَهُۥ for him مِنْ any هَادٍ guide ٣٣ Siku mtakapo geuka kurudi nyuma. Hamtakuwa na wa kukulindeni kwa Mwenyezi Mungu. Na mwenye kuhukumiwa na Mwenyezi Mungu kupotea, basi huyo hana wa kumwongoa.
Ukurasa 471 40:34 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
وَلَقَدْ جَآءَكُمْ يُوسُفُ مِن قَبْلُ بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ فَمَا زِلْتُمْ فِى شَكٍّ مِّمَّا جَآءَكُم بِهِۦ ۖ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا هَلَكَ قُلْتُمْ لَن يَبْعَثَ ٱللَّهُ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ رَسُولًا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يُضِلُّ ٱللَّهُ مَنْ هُوَ مُسْرِفٌ مُّرْتَابٌ
وَلَقَدْ And indeed جَآءَكُمْ came to you يُوسُفُ Yusuf مِن before قَبْلُ before بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ with clear proofs فَمَا but not زِلْتُمْ you ceased فِى in شَكٍّ doubt مِّمَّا about what جَآءَكُم he brought to you بِهِۦ ۖ [with it] حَتَّىٰٓ until إِذَا when هَلَكَ he died قُلْتُمْ you said لَن Never يَبْعَثَ will Allah raise ٱللَّهُ will Allah raise مِنۢ after him بَعْدِهِۦ after him رَسُولًا ۚ a Messenger كَذَٰلِكَ Thus يُضِلُّ Allah lets go astray ٱللَّهُ Allah lets go astray مَنْ who هُوَ [he] مُسْرِفٌ (is) a transgressor مُّرْتَابٌ a doubter ٣٤ Na alikwisha wajieni Yusuf zamani kwa dalili zilizo wazi, lakini nyinyi mliendelea katika shaka kwa yale aliyo kuleteeni; mpaka alipo kufa mkasema: Mwenyezi Mungu hataleta kabisa Mtume baada yake. Kama hivyo Mwenyezi Mungu humwacha kupotea anaye pindukia mipaka katika maasi anaye jitia shaka.
40:35 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
ٱلَّذِينَ يُجَٰدِلُونَ فِىٓ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ سُلْطَٰنٍ أَتَىٰهُمْ ۖ كَبُرَ مَقْتًا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَعِندَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يَطْبَعُ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ قَلْبِ مُتَكَبِّرٍ جَبَّارٍ
ٱلَّذِينَ Those who يُجَٰدِلُونَ dispute فِىٓ concerning ءَايَٰتِ (the) Signs ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah بِغَيْرِ without سُلْطَٰنٍ any authority أَتَىٰهُمْ ۖ (having) come to them كَبُرَ (it) is greatly مَقْتًا hateful عِندَ near Allah ٱللَّهِ near Allah وَعِندَ and near ٱلَّذِينَ those ءَامَنُوا۟ ۚ who believe كَذَٰلِكَ Thus يَطْبَعُ Allah sets a seal ٱللَّهُ Allah sets a seal عَلَىٰ over كُلِّ every قَلْبِ heart مُتَكَبِّرٍ (of) an arrogant جَبَّارٍ tyrant ٣٥ Hao ambao wanajadiliana katika Ishara za Mwenyezi Mungu pasipo ushahidi wowote ulio wafikia, ni chukizo kubwa mbele ya Mwenyezi Mungu na mbele ya walio amini. Hivi ndivyo Mwenyezi Mungu apigavyo muhuri juu ya kila moyo wa jeuri anaye jivuna.
40:36 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
وَقَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ يَٰهَٰمَٰنُ ٱبْنِ لِى صَرْحًا لَّعَلِّىٓ أَبْلُغُ ٱلْأَسْبَٰبَ
وَقَالَ And said فِرْعَوْنُ Firaun يَٰهَٰمَٰنُ O Haman ٱبْنِ Construct لِى for me صَرْحًا a tower لَّعَلِّىٓ that I may أَبْلُغُ reach ٱلْأَسْبَٰبَ the ways ٣٦ Na Firauni akasema: Ewe Hamana! Nijengee mnara ili nipate kuzifikia njia,
40:37 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
أَسْبَٰبَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ فَأَطَّلِعَ إِلَىٰٓ إِلَٰهِ مُوسَىٰ وَإِنِّى لَأَظُنُّهُۥ كَٰذِبًا ۚ وَكَذَٰلِكَ زُيِّنَ لِفِرْعَوْنَ سُوٓءُ عَمَلِهِۦ وَصُدَّ عَنِ ٱلسَّبِيلِ ۚ وَمَا كَيْدُ فِرْعَوْنَ إِلَّا فِى تَبَابٍ
أَسْبَٰبَ (The) ways ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ (to) the heavens فَأَطَّلِعَ so I may look إِلَىٰٓ at إِلَٰهِ (the) God مُوسَىٰ (of) Musa وَإِنِّى and indeed, I لَأَظُنُّهُۥ [I] surely think him كَٰذِبًا ۚ (to be) a liar وَكَذَٰلِكَ And thus زُيِّنَ was made fair-seeming لِفِرْعَوْنَ to Firaun سُوٓءُ (the) evil عَمَلِهِۦ (of) his deed وَصُدَّ and he was averted عَنِ from ٱلسَّبِيلِ ۚ the way وَمَا And not كَيْدُ (was the) plot فِرْعَوْنَ (of) Firaun إِلَّا except فِى in تَبَابٍ ruin ٣٧ Njia za mbinguni ili nikamwone Mungu wa Musa. Na kwa hakika mimi bila ya shaka namjua kuwa ni mwongo tu. Na hivi ndivyo Firauni alivyo pambiwa ubaya wa vitendo vyake, na akazuiliwa Njia. Na vitimbi vya Firauni havikuwa ila katika kuangamia tu.
40:38 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِىٓ ءَامَنَ يَٰقَوْمِ ٱتَّبِعُونِ أَهْدِكُمْ سَبِيلَ ٱلرَّشَادِ
وَقَالَ And said ٱلَّذِىٓ the one who ءَامَنَ believed يَٰقَوْمِ O my people ٱتَّبِعُونِ Follow me أَهْدِكُمْ I will guide you سَبِيلَ (to the) way ٱلرَّشَادِ the right ٣٨ Na yule aliye amini alisema: Enyi watu wangu! Nifuateni mimi, nitakuongozeni njia ya uwongozi mwema.
40:39 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
يَٰقَوْمِ إِنَّمَا هَٰذِهِ ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنْيَا مَتَٰعٌ وَإِنَّ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةَ هِىَ دَارُ ٱلْقَرَارِ
يَٰقَوْمِ O my people إِنَّمَا Only هَٰذِهِ this ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ the life ٱلدُّنْيَا (of) the world مَتَٰعٌ (is) enjoyment وَإِنَّ and indeed ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةَ the Hereafter هِىَ it دَارُ (is the) home ٱلْقَرَارِ (of) settlement ٣٩ Enyi watu wangu! Hakika haya maisha ya dunia ni starehe ipitayo tu, na hakika Akhera ndiyo nyumba ya daima.
40:40 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
مَنْ عَمِلَ سَيِّئَةً فَلَا يُجْزَىٰٓ إِلَّا مِثْلَهَا ۖ وَمَنْ عَمِلَ صَٰلِحًا مِّن ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنثَىٰ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ يَدْخُلُونَ ٱلْجَنَّةَ يُرْزَقُونَ فِيهَا بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ
مَنْ Whoever عَمِلَ does سَيِّئَةً an evil فَلَا then not يُجْزَىٰٓ he will be recompensed إِلَّا but مِثْلَهَا ۖ (the) like thereof وَمَنْ and whoever عَمِلَ does صَٰلِحًا righteous (deeds) مِّن of ذَكَرٍ male أَوْ or أُنثَىٰ female وَهُوَ while he مُؤْمِنٌ (is) a believer فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ then those يَدْخُلُونَ will enter ٱلْجَنَّةَ Paradise يُرْزَقُونَ they will be given provision فِيهَا in it بِغَيْرِ without حِسَابٍ account ٤٠ Mwenye kutenda uovu hatalipwa ila sawa na huo uwovu wake, na anaye tenda wema, akiwa mwanamume au mwanamke, naye ni Muumini, basi hao wataingia Peponi, waruzukiwe humo bila ya hisabu.
Ukurasa 472 40:41 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
۞ وَيَٰقَوْمِ مَا لِىٓ أَدْعُوكُمْ إِلَى ٱلنَّجَوٰةِ وَتَدْعُونَنِىٓ إِلَى ٱلنَّارِ
۞ وَيَٰقَوْمِ And O my people مَا What (is) لِىٓ for me أَدْعُوكُمْ (that) I call you إِلَى to ٱلنَّجَوٰةِ the salvation وَتَدْعُونَنِىٓ while you call me إِلَى to ٱلنَّارِ the Fire ٤١ Na enyi watu wangu! Kwa nini mimi nakuiteni kwenye uwokofu, nanyi mnaniita kwenye Moto?
40:42 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
تَدْعُونَنِى لِأَكْفُرَ بِٱللَّهِ وَأُشْرِكَ بِهِۦ مَا لَيْسَ لِى بِهِۦ عِلْمٌ وَأَنَا۠ أَدْعُوكُمْ إِلَى ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْغَفَّٰرِ
تَدْعُونَنِى You call me لِأَكْفُرَ that I disbelieve بِٱللَّهِ in Allah وَأُشْرِكَ and (to) associate بِهِۦ with Him مَا what لَيْسَ not لِى for me بِهِۦ of it عِلْمٌ any knowledge وَأَنَا۠ and I أَدْعُوكُمْ call you إِلَى to ٱلْعَزِيزِ the All-Mighty ٱلْغَفَّٰرِ the Oft-Forgiving ٤٢ Mnaniita nimkufuru Mwenyezi Mungu na nimshirikishe na yule ambaye simjui, nami nakuiteni kwa Mwenye nguvu Mwenye kusamehe?
40:43 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
لَا جَرَمَ أَنَّمَا تَدْعُونَنِىٓ إِلَيْهِ لَيْسَ لَهُۥ دَعْوَةٌ فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا وَلَا فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ وَأَنَّ مَرَدَّنَآ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ وَأَنَّ ٱلْمُسْرِفِينَ هُمْ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلنَّارِ
لَا No جَرَمَ doubt أَنَّمَا that what تَدْعُونَنِىٓ you call me إِلَيْهِ to it لَيْسَ not لَهُۥ for it دَعْوَةٌ a claim فِى in ٱلدُّنْيَا the world وَلَا and not فِى in ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ the Hereafter وَأَنَّ and that مَرَدَّنَآ our return إِلَى (is) to ٱللَّهِ Allah وَأَنَّ and that ٱلْمُسْرِفِينَ the transgressors هُمْ they أَصْحَٰبُ (will be the) companions ٱلنَّارِ (of) the Fire ٤٣ Bila ya shaka mnaye niitia kumuabudu hastahiki wito duniani wala Akhera. Na hakika marejeo yetu ni kwa Mwenyezi Mungu. Na wanao pindukia mipaka ndio watu wa Motoni!
40:44 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
فَسَتَذْكُرُونَ مَآ أَقُولُ لَكُمْ ۚ وَأُفَوِّضُ أَمْرِىٓ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بَصِيرٌۢ بِٱلْعِبَادِ
فَسَتَذْكُرُونَ And you will remember مَآ what أَقُولُ I say لَكُمْ ۚ to you وَأُفَوِّضُ and I entrust أَمْرِىٓ my affair إِلَى to ٱللَّهِ ۚ Allah إِنَّ Indeed ٱللَّهَ Allah بَصِيرٌۢ (is) All-Seer بِٱلْعِبَادِ of (His) slaves ٤٤ Basi mtayakumbuka ninayo kuambieni. Nami namkabidhi Mwenyezi Mungu mambo yangu. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu anawaona waja wake.
40:45 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
فَوَقَىٰهُ ٱللَّهُ سَيِّـَٔاتِ مَا مَكَرُوا۟ ۖ وَحَاقَ بِـَٔالِ فِرْعَوْنَ سُوٓءُ ٱلْعَذَابِ
فَوَقَىٰهُ So Allah protected him ٱللَّهُ So Allah protected him سَيِّـَٔاتِ (from the) evils مَا that مَكَرُوا۟ ۖ they plotted وَحَاقَ and enveloped بِـَٔالِ (the) people فِرْعَوْنَ (of) Firaun سُوٓءُ (the) worst ٱلْعَذَابِ punishment ٤٥ Basi Mwenyezi Mungu akamlinda na ubaya wa hila walizo zifanya. Na adhabu mbaya itawazunguka watu wa Firauni.
40:46 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
ٱلنَّارُ يُعْرَضُونَ عَلَيْهَا غُدُوًّا وَعَشِيًّا ۖ وَيَوْمَ تَقُومُ ٱلسَّاعَةُ أَدْخِلُوٓا۟ ءَالَ فِرْعَوْنَ أَشَدَّ ٱلْعَذَابِ
ٱلنَّارُ The Fire يُعْرَضُونَ they are exposed عَلَيْهَا to it غُدُوًّا morning وَعَشِيًّا ۖ and evening وَيَوْمَ And (the) Day تَقُومُ (will be) established ٱلسَّاعَةُ the Hour أَدْخِلُوٓا۟ Cause to enter ءَالَ (the) people فِرْعَوْنَ (of) Firaun أَشَدَّ (in the) severest ٱلْعَذَابِ punishment ٤٦ Wanaonyeshwa Moto asubuhi na jioni. Na itapo fika Saa ya Kiyama patasemwa: Waingizeni watu wa Firauni katika adhabu kali kabisa!
40:47 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
وَإِذْ يَتَحَآجُّونَ فِى ٱلنَّارِ فَيَقُولُ ٱلضُّعَفَٰٓؤُا۟ لِلَّذِينَ ٱسْتَكْبَرُوٓا۟ إِنَّا كُنَّا لَكُمْ تَبَعًا فَهَلْ أَنتُم مُّغْنُونَ عَنَّا نَصِيبًا مِّنَ ٱلنَّارِ
وَإِذْ And when يَتَحَآجُّونَ they will dispute فِى in ٱلنَّارِ the Fire فَيَقُولُ then will say ٱلضُّعَفَٰٓؤُا۟ the weak لِلَّذِينَ to those who ٱسْتَكْبَرُوٓا۟ were arrogant إِنَّا Indeed, we كُنَّا [we] were لَكُمْ for you تَبَعًا followers فَهَلْ so can أَنتُم you مُّغْنُونَ avert عَنَّا from us نَصِيبًا a portion مِّنَ of ٱلنَّارِ the Fire ٤٧ Na watapo hojiana huko Motoni, wanyonge watawaambia walio jitukuza: Hakika sisi tulikuwa wafuasi wenu, basi je, hamtuondolei sehemu ya huu Moto?
40:48 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسْتَكْبَرُوٓا۟ إِنَّا كُلٌّ فِيهَآ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ قَدْ حَكَمَ بَيْنَ ٱلْعِبَادِ
قَالَ Will say ٱلَّذِينَ those who ٱسْتَكْبَرُوٓا۟ (were) arrogant إِنَّا Indeed, we كُلٌّ all فِيهَآ (are) in it إِنَّ Indeed ٱللَّهَ Allah قَدْ certainly حَكَمَ has judged بَيْنَ between ٱلْعِبَادِ (His) slaves ٤٨ Watasema walio jitukuza: Hakika sote sisi tumo humo humo! Kwani Mwenyezi Mungu kesha hukumu baina ya waja!
40:49 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ فِى ٱلنَّارِ لِخَزَنَةِ جَهَنَّمَ ٱدْعُوا۟ رَبَّكُمْ يُخَفِّفْ عَنَّا يَوْمًا مِّنَ ٱلْعَذَابِ
وَقَالَ And will say ٱلَّذِينَ those فِى in ٱلنَّارِ the Fire لِخَزَنَةِ to (the) keepers جَهَنَّمَ (of) Hell ٱدْعُوا۟ Call رَبَّكُمْ your Lord يُخَفِّفْ (to) lighten عَنَّا for us يَوْمًا a day مِّنَ of ٱلْعَذَابِ the punishment ٤٩ Na walio Motoni watawaambia walinzi wa Jahannamu: Mwombeni Mola wenu Mlezi atupunguzie walau siku moja ya adhabu.

قَالُوٓا۟ أَوَلَمْ تَكُ تَأْتِيكُمْ رُسُلُكُم بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ ۖ قَالُوا۟ بَلَىٰ ۚ قَالُوا۟ فَٱدْعُوا۟ ۗ وَمَا دُعَٰٓؤُا۟ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ إِلَّا فِى ضَلَٰلٍ
قَالُوٓا۟ They (will) say أَوَلَمْ Did there not تَكُ Did there not تَأْتِيكُمْ come to you رُسُلُكُم your Messengers بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ ۖ with clear proofs قَالُوا۟ They (will) say بَلَىٰ ۚ Yes قَالُوا۟ They (will) say فَٱدْعُوا۟ ۗ Then call وَمَا but not دُعَٰٓؤُا۟ (is the) call ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ (of) the disbelievers إِلَّا except فِى in ضَلَٰلٍ error ٥٠ Nao watasema: Je! Hawakuwa wakikufikieni Mitume wenu kwa hoja zilio wazi? Watasema: Kwani? Watasema: Basi ombeni! Na maombi ya makafiri hayawi ila ni kupotea bure.
40:51 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
إِنَّا لَنَنصُرُ رُسُلَنَا وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ فِى ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَيَوْمَ يَقُومُ ٱلْأَشْهَٰدُ
إِنَّا Indeed We لَنَنصُرُ We will surely help رُسُلَنَا Our Messengers وَٱلَّذِينَ and those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe فِى in ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ the life ٱلدُّنْيَا (of) the world وَيَوْمَ and (on the) Day يَقُومُ (when) will stand ٱلْأَشْهَٰدُ the witnesses ٥١ Hakika bila ya shaka Sisi tunawanusuru Mitume wetu na walio amini katika uhai wa duniani na siku watapo simama Mashahidi,
40:52 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
يَوْمَ لَا يَنفَعُ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ مَعْذِرَتُهُمْ ۖ وَلَهُمُ ٱللَّعْنَةُ وَلَهُمْ سُوٓءُ ٱلدَّارِ
يَوْمَ (The) Day لَا not يَنفَعُ will benefit ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ the wrongdoers مَعْذِرَتُهُمْ ۖ their excuse وَلَهُمُ and for them ٱللَّعْنَةُ (is) the curse وَلَهُمْ and for them سُوٓءُ (is the) worst ٱلدَّارِ home ٥٢ Siku ambayo hautawafaa madhaalimu udhuru wao, nao watapata laana, na watapata makaazi mabaya kabisa.
40:53 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَا مُوسَى ٱلْهُدَىٰ وَأَوْرَثْنَا بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ
وَلَقَدْ And certainly ءَاتَيْنَا We gave مُوسَى Musa ٱلْهُدَىٰ the guidance وَأَوْرَثْنَا and We caused to inherit بَنِىٓ (the) Children of Israel إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ (the) Children of Israel ٱلْكِتَٰبَ the Book ٥٣ Na kwa hakika tulimpa Musa uwongofu, na tukawarithisha Wana wa Israili Kitabu,
40:54 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
هُدًى وَذِكْرَىٰ لِأُو۟لِى ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ
هُدًى A guide وَذِكْرَىٰ and a reminder لِأُو۟لِى for those ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ (of) understanding ٥٤ Ambacho ni Uwongofu na Ukumbusho kwa wenye akili.
40:55 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
فَٱصْبِرْ إِنَّ وَعْدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقٌّ وَٱسْتَغْفِرْ لِذَنۢبِكَ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ بِٱلْعَشِىِّ وَٱلْإِبْكَٰرِ
فَٱصْبِرْ So be patient إِنَّ indeed وَعْدَ (the) Promise of Allah ٱللَّهِ (the) Promise of Allah حَقٌّ (is) true وَٱسْتَغْفِرْ And ask forgiveness لِذَنۢبِكَ for your sin وَسَبِّحْ and glorify بِحَمْدِ (the) praise رَبِّكَ (of) your Lord بِٱلْعَشِىِّ in the evening وَٱلْإِبْكَٰرِ and the morning ٥٥ Basi subiri. Hakika ahadi ya Mwenyezi Mungu ni kweli. Na omba msamaha kwa dhambi zako, na umtakase Mola wako Mlezi kwa kumhimidi jioni na asubuhi.
40:56 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يُجَٰدِلُونَ فِىٓ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ سُلْطَٰنٍ أَتَىٰهُمْ ۙ إِن فِى صُدُورِهِمْ إِلَّا كِبْرٌ مَّا هُم بِبَٰلِغِيهِ ۚ فَٱسْتَعِذْ بِٱللَّهِ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْبَصِيرُ
إِنَّ Indeed ٱلَّذِينَ those who يُجَٰدِلُونَ dispute فِىٓ concerning ءَايَٰتِ (the) Signs ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah بِغَيْرِ without سُلْطَٰنٍ any authority أَتَىٰهُمْ ۙ (which) came to them إِن not فِى (is) in صُدُورِهِمْ their breasts إِلَّا but كِبْرٌ greatness مَّا not هُم they بِبَٰلِغِيهِ ۚ (can) reach it فَٱسْتَعِذْ So seek refuge بِٱللَّهِ ۖ in Allah إِنَّهُۥ Indeed He هُوَ He ٱلسَّمِيعُ (is) the All-Hearer ٱلْبَصِيرُ the All-Seer ٥٦ Hakika hao wanao bishana katika Ishara za Mwenyezi Mungu bila ya uthibitisho wowote uliyo wajia, hawana vifuani mwao ila kutaka ukubwa tu, na wala huo hawaufikilii. Basi jikinge kwa Mwenyezi Mungu. Hakika Yeye ni Mwenye kusikia, Mwenye kuona.
40:57 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
لَخَلْقُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ أَكْبَرُ مِنْ خَلْقِ ٱلنَّاسِ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
لَخَلْقُ Surely, (the) creation ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth أَكْبَرُ (is) greater مِنْ than خَلْقِ (the) creation ٱلنَّاسِ (of) the mankind وَلَٰكِنَّ but أَكْثَرَ most ٱلنَّاسِ (of) the people لَا (do) not يَعْلَمُونَ know ٥٧ Bila ya shaka kuumba mbingu na ardhi ni kukubwa zaidi kuliko kuwaumba watu. Lakini watu wengi hawajui.
40:58 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
وَمَا يَسْتَوِى ٱلْأَعْمَىٰ وَٱلْبَصِيرُ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ وَلَا ٱلْمُسِىٓءُ ۚ قَلِيلًا مَّا تَتَذَكَّرُونَ
وَمَا And not يَسْتَوِى (are) equal ٱلْأَعْمَىٰ the blind وَٱلْبَصِيرُ and the seeing وَٱلَّذِينَ and those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe وَعَمِلُوا۟ and do ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ righteous deeds وَلَا and not ٱلْمُسِىٓءُ ۚ the evildoer قَلِيلًا Little مَّا (is) what تَتَذَكَّرُونَ you take heed ٥٨ Na kipofu na mwenye kuona hawalingani; na walio amini na watendao mema hawalingani na muovu. Ni machache mnayo yakumbuka.
Ukurasa 474 40:59 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
إِنَّ ٱلسَّاعَةَ لَـَٔاتِيَةٌ لَّا رَيْبَ فِيهَا وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
إِنَّ Indeed ٱلسَّاعَةَ the Hour لَـَٔاتِيَةٌ (is) surely coming لَّا no رَيْبَ doubt فِيهَا in it وَلَٰكِنَّ but أَكْثَرَ most ٱلنَّاسِ (of) the people لَا (do) not يُؤْمِنُونَ believe ٥٩ Hakika Saa (ya Kiyama) itafika, nayo haina shaka. Lakini watu wengi hawaamini.
40:60 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
وَقَالَ رَبُّكُمُ ٱدْعُونِىٓ أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ ۚ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ عَنْ عِبَادَتِى سَيَدْخُلُونَ جَهَنَّمَ دَاخِرِينَ
وَقَالَ And said رَبُّكُمُ your Lord ٱدْعُونِىٓ Call upon Me أَسْتَجِبْ I will respond لَكُمْ ۚ to you إِنَّ Indeed ٱلَّذِينَ those who يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ (are) proud عَنْ to عِبَادَتِى worship Me سَيَدْخُلُونَ will enter جَهَنَّمَ Hell دَاخِرِينَ (in) humiliation ٦٠ Na Mola wenu Mlezi anasema: Niombeni nitakuitikieni. Kwa hakika wale ambao wanajivuna na kuniabudu Mimi wataingia Jahannamu wadhalilike.
40:61 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلَّيْلَ لِتَسْكُنُوا۟ فِيهِ وَٱلنَّهَارَ مُبْصِرًا ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَشْكُرُونَ
ٱللَّهُ Allah ٱلَّذِى (is) the One Who جَعَلَ made لَكُمُ for you ٱلَّيْلَ the night لِتَسْكُنُوا۟ that you may rest فِيهِ in it وَٱلنَّهَارَ and the day مُبْصِرًا ۚ giving visibility إِنَّ Indeed ٱللَّهَ Allah لَذُو (is) Full (of) Bounty فَضْلٍ (is) Full (of) Bounty عَلَى to ٱلنَّاسِ the people وَلَٰكِنَّ but أَكْثَرَ most ٱلنَّاسِ (of) the people لَا (do) not يَشْكُرُونَ give thanks ٦١ Mwenyezi Mungu aliye kufanyieni usiku ili mpate kutulia humo, na mchana wa kuonea. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu bila ya shaka ni Mwenye fadhila juu ya watu, lakini watu wengi hawashukuru.
40:62 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
ذَٰلِكُمُ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّكُمْ خَٰلِقُ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ لَّآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ فَأَنَّىٰ تُؤْفَكُونَ
ذَٰلِكُمُ That ٱللَّهُ (is) Allah رَبُّكُمْ your Lord خَٰلِقُ (the) Creator كُلِّ (of) all شَىْءٍ things لَّآ (there is) no إِلَٰهَ god إِلَّا except هُوَ ۖ Him فَأَنَّىٰ So how تُؤْفَكُونَ are you deluded ٦٢ Huyo ndiye Mwenyezi Mungu Mola wenu Mlezi, Muumba wa kila kitu. Hapana mungu ila Yeye; basi mnageuzwa wapi?
40:63 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
كَذَٰلِكَ يُؤْفَكُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَانُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ يَجْحَدُونَ
كَذَٰلِكَ Thus يُؤْفَكُ were deluded ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَانُوا۟ were بِـَٔايَٰتِ (the) Signs ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah يَجْحَدُونَ rejecting ٦٣ Namna hivi ndivyo walivyo geuzwa walio kuwa wakizikataa Ishara za Mwenyezi Mungu.
40:64 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلْأَرْضَ قَرَارًا وَٱلسَّمَآءَ بِنَآءً وَصَوَّرَكُمْ فَأَحْسَنَ صُوَرَكُمْ وَرَزَقَكُم مِّنَ ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمُ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّكُمْ ۖ فَتَبَارَكَ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
ٱللَّهُ Allah ٱلَّذِى (is) the One Who جَعَلَ made لَكُمُ for you ٱلْأَرْضَ the earth قَرَارًا a place of settlement وَٱلسَّمَآءَ and the sky بِنَآءً a canopy وَصَوَّرَكُمْ and He formed you فَأَحْسَنَ and perfected صُوَرَكُمْ your forms وَرَزَقَكُم and provided you مِّنَ of ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِ ۚ the good things ذَٰلِكُمُ That ٱللَّهُ (is) Allah رَبُّكُمْ ۖ your Lord فَتَبَارَكَ Then blessed (is) ٱللَّهُ Allah رَبُّ (the) Lord ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ (of) the worlds ٦٤ Ni Mwenyezi Mungu aliye kufanyieni ardhi kuwa ni pahala pa kukaa, na mbingu kuwa dari. Na akakutieni sura, na akazifanya nzuri sura zenu, na akakuruzukuni vitu vizuri. Huyo ndiye Mwenyezi Mungu Mola wenu Mlezi. Basi ametukuka Mwenyezi Mungu Mola Mlezi wa walimwengu wote.
40:65 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
هُوَ ٱلْحَىُّ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ فَٱدْعُوهُ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ ٱلدِّينَ ۗ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
هُوَ He ٱلْحَىُّ (is) the Ever-Living لَآ (there is) no إِلَٰهَ god إِلَّا but هُوَ He فَٱدْعُوهُ so call Him مُخْلِصِينَ (being) sincere لَهُ to Him ٱلدِّينَ ۗ (in) the religion ٱلْحَمْدُ All praise (be) لِلَّهِ to Allah رَبِّ (the) Lord ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ (of) the worlds ٦٥ Yeye ndiye aliye Hai - hapana mungu isipo kuwa Yeye. Basi muabuduni Yeye mkimsafishia Dini Yeye. Sifa njema zote ni za Mwenyezi Mungu, Mola Mlezi wa walimwengu wote.
40:66 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
۞ قُلْ إِنِّى نُهِيتُ أَنْ أَعْبُدَ ٱلَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ لَمَّا جَآءَنِىَ ٱلْبَيِّنَٰتُ مِن رَّبِّى وَأُمِرْتُ أَنْ أُسْلِمَ لِرَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
۞ قُلْ Say إِنِّى Indeed, I نُهِيتُ [I] have been forbidden أَنْ to أَعْبُدَ worship ٱلَّذِينَ those whom تَدْعُونَ you call مِن besides دُونِ besides ٱللَّهِ Allah لَمَّا when جَآءَنِىَ have come to me ٱلْبَيِّنَٰتُ the clear proofs مِن from رَّبِّى my Lord وَأُمِرْتُ and I am commanded أَنْ to أُسْلِمَ submit لِرَبِّ to (the) Lord ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ (of) the worlds ٦٦ Sema: Mimi nimekatazwa kuwaabudu hao mnao waomba badala ya Mwenyezi Mungu, zilipo nijia hoja zilizo dhaahiri kutokana na Mola wangu Mlezi. Na nimeamrishwa nisilimu kwa Mola wa walimwengu wote.
Ukurasa 475 40:67 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
هُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَكُم مِّن تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ عَلَقَةٍ ثُمَّ يُخْرِجُكُمْ طِفْلًا ثُمَّ لِتَبْلُغُوٓا۟ أَشُدَّكُمْ ثُمَّ لِتَكُونُوا۟ شُيُوخًا ۚ وَمِنكُم مَّن يُتَوَفَّىٰ مِن قَبْلُ ۖ وَلِتَبْلُغُوٓا۟ أَجَلًا مُّسَمًّى وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ
هُوَ He ٱلَّذِى (is) the One Who خَلَقَكُم created you مِّن from تُرَابٍ dust ثُمَّ then مِن from نُّطْفَةٍ a semen-drop ثُمَّ then مِنْ from عَلَقَةٍ a clinging substance ثُمَّ then يُخْرِجُكُمْ He brings you out طِفْلًا (as) a child ثُمَّ then لِتَبْلُغُوٓا۟ lets you reach أَشُدَّكُمْ your maturity ثُمَّ then لِتَكُونُوا۟ lets you become شُيُوخًا ۚ old وَمِنكُم and among you مَّن (is he) who يُتَوَفَّىٰ dies مِن before قَبْلُ ۖ before وَلِتَبْلُغُوٓا۟ and lets you reach أَجَلًا a term مُّسَمًّى specified وَلَعَلَّكُمْ and that you may تَعْقِلُونَ use reason ٦٧ Yeye ndiye aliye kuumbeni kwa udongo, kisha kwa tone la manii, kisha kwa pande la damu, kisha akakutoeni katika hali ya mtoto mchanga, kisha mpate kufikilia utu uzima, kisha mpate kuwa wazee. Na kati yenu wapo wanao kufa kabla, na ili mfikie muda ulio kwisha wekwa, na ili mpate kufahamu.
40:68 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
هُوَ ٱلَّذِى يُحْىِۦ وَيُمِيتُ ۖ فَإِذَا قَضَىٰٓ أَمْرًا فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُۥ كُن فَيَكُونُ
هُوَ He ٱلَّذِى (is) the One Who يُحْىِۦ gives life وَيُمِيتُ ۖ and causes death فَإِذَا And when قَضَىٰٓ He decrees أَمْرًا a matter فَإِنَّمَا then only يَقُولُ He says لَهُۥ to it كُن Be فَيَكُونُ and it is ٦٨ Yeye ndiye anaye huisha na anaye fisha. Akihukumu jambo liwe, basi huliambia: Kuwa! Likawa.
40:69 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ يُجَٰدِلُونَ فِىٓ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ أَنَّىٰ يُصْرَفُونَ
أَلَمْ Do not تَرَ you see إِلَى [to] ٱلَّذِينَ those who يُجَٰدِلُونَ dispute فِىٓ concerning ءَايَٰتِ (the) Signs ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah أَنَّىٰ How يُصْرَفُونَ they are turned away ٦٩ Je! Huwaoni wale wanao bishana katika Ishara za Mwenyezi Mungu? Wanageuziwa wapi?
40:70 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِٱلْكِتَٰبِ وَبِمَآ أَرْسَلْنَا بِهِۦ رُسُلَنَا ۖ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ
ٱلَّذِينَ Those who كَذَّبُوا۟ deny بِٱلْكِتَٰبِ the Book وَبِمَآ and with what أَرْسَلْنَا We sent بِهِۦ with it رُسُلَنَا ۖ Our Messengers فَسَوْفَ but soon يَعْلَمُونَ they will know ٧٠ Ambao wamekanusha Kitabu na yale tuliyo watuma Mitume wetu. Basi watakuja jua.
40:71 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
إِذِ ٱلْأَغْلَٰلُ فِىٓ أَعْنَٰقِهِمْ وَٱلسَّلَٰسِلُ يُسْحَبُونَ
إِذِ When ٱلْأَغْلَٰلُ the iron collars فِىٓ (will be) around أَعْنَٰقِهِمْ their necks وَٱلسَّلَٰسِلُ and the chains يُسْحَبُونَ they will be dragged ٧١ Zitakapo kuwa pingu shingoni mwao na minyororo, huku wanabururwa
40:72 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
فِى ٱلْحَمِيمِ ثُمَّ فِى ٱلنَّارِ يُسْجَرُونَ
فِى In ٱلْحَمِيمِ the boiling water ثُمَّ then فِى in ٱلنَّارِ the Fire يُسْجَرُونَ they will be burned ٧٢ Katika maji ya moto, kisha wanaunguzwa Motoni,
40:73 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
ثُمَّ قِيلَ لَهُمْ أَيْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ تُشْرِكُونَ
ثُمَّ Then قِيلَ it will be said لَهُمْ to them أَيْنَ Where مَا (is) that which كُنتُمْ you used to تُشْرِكُونَ associate ٧٣ Tena wataambiwa: Wako wapi mlio kuwa mkiwashirikisha.
40:74 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ ۖ قَالُوا۟ ضَلُّوا۟ عَنَّا بَل لَّمْ نَكُن نَّدْعُوا۟ مِن قَبْلُ شَيْـًٔا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يُضِلُّ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ
مِن Other than دُونِ Other than ٱللَّهِ ۖ Allah قَالُوا۟ They will say ضَلُّوا۟ They have departed عَنَّا from us بَل Nay لَّمْ Not نَكُن we used to نَّدْعُوا۟ [we] call مِن before قَبْلُ before شَيْـًٔا ۚ anything كَذَٰلِكَ Thus يُضِلُّ Allah lets go astray ٱللَّهُ Allah lets go astray ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ the disbelievers ٧٤ Badala ya Mwenyezi Mungu? Watasema: Wametupotea, bali tangu zamani hatukuwa tukiomba kitu! Hivyo ndivyo Mwenyezi Mungu anawaachia makafiri wapotelee mbali.
40:75 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
ذَٰلِكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَفْرَحُونَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ ٱلْحَقِّ وَبِمَا كُنتُمْ تَمْرَحُونَ
ذَٰلِكُم That was بِمَا because كُنتُمْ you used to تَفْرَحُونَ rejoice فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth بِغَيْرِ without ٱلْحَقِّ right وَبِمَا and because كُنتُمْ you used to تَمْرَحُونَ be insolent ٧٥ Haya ni kwa sababu mlikuwa mkijitapa katika ardhi pasipo haki, na kwa sababu mlikuwa mkijishaua.
40:76 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
ٱدْخُلُوٓا۟ أَبْوَٰبَ جَهَنَّمَ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا ۖ فَبِئْسَ مَثْوَى ٱلْمُتَكَبِّرِينَ
ٱدْخُلُوٓا۟ Enter أَبْوَٰبَ (the) gates جَهَنَّمَ (of) Hell خَٰلِدِينَ (to) abide forever فِيهَا ۖ in it فَبِئْسَ and wretched is مَثْوَى (the) abode ٱلْمُتَكَبِّرِينَ (of) the arrogant ٧٦ Ingieni kwenye milango ya Jahannamu, mdumu humo milele. Basi ni maovu yaliyoje makaazi ya wanao takabari!
40:77 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
فَٱصْبِرْ إِنَّ وَعْدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقٌّ ۚ فَإِمَّا نُرِيَنَّكَ بَعْضَ ٱلَّذِى نَعِدُهُمْ أَوْ نَتَوَفَّيَنَّكَ فَإِلَيْنَا يُرْجَعُونَ
فَٱصْبِرْ So be patient إِنَّ indeed وَعْدَ (the) Promise ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah حَقٌّ ۚ (is) true فَإِمَّا And whether نُرِيَنَّكَ We show you بَعْضَ some ٱلَّذِى (of) what نَعِدُهُمْ We have promised them أَوْ or نَتَوَفَّيَنَّكَ We cause you to die فَإِلَيْنَا then to Us يُرْجَعُونَ they will be returned ٧٧ Basi subiri, hakika ahadi ya Mwenyezi Mungu ni ya kweli. Na ama tukikuonyesha baadhi ya yale tuliyo waahidi au tukikufisha, lakini wao watarudishwa kwetu tu.

وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا رُسُلًا مِّن قَبْلِكَ مِنْهُم مَّن قَصَصْنَا عَلَيْكَ وَمِنْهُم مَّن لَّمْ نَقْصُصْ عَلَيْكَ ۗ وَمَا كَانَ لِرَسُولٍ أَن يَأْتِىَ بِـَٔايَةٍ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ فَإِذَا جَآءَ أَمْرُ ٱللَّهِ قُضِىَ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَخَسِرَ هُنَالِكَ ٱلْمُبْطِلُونَ
وَلَقَدْ And certainly أَرْسَلْنَا We have sent رُسُلًا Messengers مِّن before you قَبْلِكَ before you مِنْهُم Among them مَّن (are) who قَصَصْنَا We have related عَلَيْكَ to you وَمِنْهُم and among them مَّن (are) who لَّمْ not نَقْصُصْ We have related عَلَيْكَ ۗ to you وَمَا And not كَانَ is لِرَسُولٍ for any Messenger أَن that يَأْتِىَ he brings بِـَٔايَةٍ a Sign إِلَّا except بِإِذْنِ by (the) permission ٱللَّهِ ۚ (of) Allah فَإِذَا So when جَآءَ comes أَمْرُ (the) Command ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah قُضِىَ it will be decided بِٱلْحَقِّ in truth وَخَسِرَ and will lose هُنَالِكَ there ٱلْمُبْطِلُونَ the falsifiers ٧٨ Na bila ya shaka tuliwatuma Mitume kabla yako. Wengine katika hao tumekusimulia khabari zao, na wengine hatukukusimulia. Na haiwi Mtume alete Ishara yoyote ila kwa idhini ya Mwenyezi Mungu. Basi ikija amri ya Mwenyezi Mungu huhukumiwa kwa Haki, na hapo wapotofu watakhasiri.
40:79 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلْأَنْعَٰمَ لِتَرْكَبُوا۟ مِنْهَا وَمِنْهَا تَأْكُلُونَ
ٱللَّهُ Allah ٱلَّذِى (is) the One Who جَعَلَ made لَكُمُ for you ٱلْأَنْعَٰمَ the cattle لِتَرْكَبُوا۟ that you may ride مِنْهَا some of them وَمِنْهَا and some of them تَأْكُلُونَ you eat ٧٩ Mwenyezi Mungu aliye kujaalieni nyama hoa, mifugo, ili muwapande baadhi yao, na muwale baadhi yao.
40:80 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا مَنَٰفِعُ وَلِتَبْلُغُوا۟ عَلَيْهَا حَاجَةً فِى صُدُورِكُمْ وَعَلَيْهَا وَعَلَى ٱلْفُلْكِ تُحْمَلُونَ
وَلَكُمْ And for you فِيهَا in them مَنَٰفِعُ (are) benefits وَلِتَبْلُغُوا۟ and that you may reach عَلَيْهَا through them حَاجَةً a need فِى (that is) in صُدُورِكُمْ your breasts وَعَلَيْهَا and upon them وَعَلَى and upon ٱلْفُلْكِ the ships تُحْمَلُونَ you are carried ٨٠ Na katika hao mnayo manufaa kadhaa wa kadhaa, na mnapata kwao haja ziliomo vifuani mwenu; na mnachukuliwa juu yao, na juu ya marikebu.
40:81 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
وَيُرِيكُمْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ فَأَىَّ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ تُنكِرُونَ
وَيُرِيكُمْ And He shows you ءَايَٰتِهِۦ His Signs فَأَىَّ Then which ءَايَٰتِ (of the) Signs ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah تُنكِرُونَ will you deny ٨١ Naye anakuonyesheni Ishara zake. Basi Ishara gani za Mwenyezi Mungu mnazo zikataa?
40:82 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
أَفَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَيَنظُرُوا۟ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ كَانُوٓا۟ أَكْثَرَ مِنْهُمْ وَأَشَدَّ قُوَّةً وَءَاثَارًا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَمَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ
أَفَلَمْ Do they not يَسِيرُوا۟ travel فِى through ٱلْأَرْضِ the land فَيَنظُرُوا۟ and see كَيْفَ how كَانَ was عَٰقِبَةُ (the) end ٱلَّذِينَ (of) those who مِن (were) before them قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ (were) before them كَانُوٓا۟ They were أَكْثَرَ more numerous مِنْهُمْ than them وَأَشَدَّ and mightier قُوَّةً (in) strength وَءَاثَارًا and impressions فِى in ٱلْأَرْضِ the land فَمَآ but not أَغْنَىٰ availed عَنْهُم them مَّا what كَانُوا۟ they used to يَكْسِبُونَ earn ٨٢ Kwani hawatembei katika ardhi wakaona ulikuwaje mwisho wa walio kuwa kabla yao? Wao walikuwa wengi kuliko hawa, na wamewashinda kwa nguvu na athari katika nchi. Wala hayakuwafaa hayo waliyo kuwa wakiyachuma.
40:83 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
فَلَمَّا جَآءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ فَرِحُوا۟ بِمَا عِندَهُم مِّنَ ٱلْعِلْمِ وَحَاقَ بِهِم مَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ
فَلَمَّا Then when جَآءَتْهُمْ came to them رُسُلُهُم their Messengers بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ with clear proofs فَرِحُوا۟ they rejoiced بِمَا in what عِندَهُم they had مِّنَ of ٱلْعِلْمِ the knowledge وَحَاقَ and enveloped بِهِم them مَّا what كَانُوا۟ they used to بِهِۦ [at it] يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ mock ٨٣ Walipo wajia Mitume wao kwa dalili zilizo wazi walijitapa kwa ilimu waliyo kuwa nayo. Basi yakawazunguka waliyo kuwa wakiyafanyia maskhara.
40:84 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
فَلَمَّا رَأَوْا۟ بَأْسَنَا قَالُوٓا۟ ءَامَنَّا بِٱللَّهِ وَحْدَهُۥ وَكَفَرْنَا بِمَا كُنَّا بِهِۦ مُشْرِكِينَ
فَلَمَّا So when رَأَوْا۟ they saw بَأْسَنَا Our punishment قَالُوٓا۟ they said ءَامَنَّا We believe بِٱللَّهِ in Allah وَحْدَهُۥ Alone وَكَفَرْنَا and we disbelieve بِمَا in what كُنَّا we used to بِهِۦ with Him مُشْرِكِينَ associate ٨٤ Walipo iona adhabu yetu walisema: Tumemuamini Mwenyezi Mungu kuwa ni wa pekee, na tunaikataa miungu tuliyo kuwa tukiishirikisha naye.
40:85 ▶ ☆ ⧉ ↗
فَلَمْ يَكُ يَنفَعُهُمْ إِيمَٰنُهُمْ لَمَّا رَأَوْا۟ بَأْسَنَا ۖ سُنَّتَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّتِى قَدْ خَلَتْ فِى عِبَادِهِۦ ۖ وَخَسِرَ هُنَالِكَ ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ
فَلَمْ But did not يَكُ But did not يَنفَعُهُمْ benefit them إِيمَٰنُهُمْ their faith لَمَّا when رَأَوْا۟ they saw بَأْسَنَا ۖ Our punishment سُنَّتَ (Such is the) Way ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah ٱلَّتِى which قَدْ (has) indeed خَلَتْ preceded فِى among عِبَادِهِۦ ۖ His slaves وَخَسِرَ And are lost هُنَالِكَ there ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ the disbelievers ٨٥ Lakini imani yao haikuwa yenye kuwafaa kitu wakati ambao wamekwisha iona adhabu yetu. Huu ndio mwendo wa Mwenyezi Mungu ulio kuwa kwa waja wake. Na hapo walio kufuru walikhasiri.
